Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Monitors work force at assigned locations to coordinate maintenance and cleanup activities and to ensure equipment is inspected in accordance with FRA and NJ TRANSIT regulations.
+ Establishes overtime plan and vacation coverage, etc., and monitors for compliance.
+ Interacts with both the Mechanical Desk and Transportation Department to coordinate proper equipment manipulation, shop moves and emergency repairs to maximize service to NJ TRANSIT’s customers.
