Job Description
General Accountant
Lambert Nemec Group, Manitoba’s leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the city located in Winnipeg to recruit a General Accountant to become an active member of the team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Controller and should be intrinsically motivated and a hard worker who appreciates work autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Setting up accounts and balances in the accounting system
- Daily bank reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy
- Monthly account reconciliations and GL accounting
- General journal entries
- Assist the Controller in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Requirements
- 4+ years minimum of relevant experience in full cycle accounting
- A degree or diploma in accounting or business administration (required)
