Job Description
Optimus is seeking a Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer to enhance its geartrain test team. Drive innovative testing methodologies for robotic actuation systems and challenging geartrain components.
As a Geartrain Test Engineer at Optimus, you will take ownership of the testing and validation processes for various geartrain components. This includes working within a multi-disciplinary hardware team to develop state-of-the-art robotic systems. Your role requires collaboration with design teams to ensure rigorous test practices and improve actuator performance.
Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate on test plans with design and manufacturing engineers • Design and fabricate geartrain testing fixtures • Develop and automate testing procedures using Python and MATLAB • Lead gear and bearing performance testing • Manage multiple validation activities efficiently
