Job Description
we’re looking for an experienced Ganger and Labourer to carry out smart meter installations and reinstatements across Bournemouth. You’ll be working on planned metering projects, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

- Undertake excavation and reinstatement works for meter installation.
- Install and replace domestic and commercial smart meters to specification.
- Work safely in accordance with street works and utility regulations.
- Ensure all reinstatement meets required standards (backfill, compaction, surfacing).
- Complete job sheets, record meter details, and liaise with supervisors as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the company van to high standards.
Requirements:
- EUSR and SHEA Water Card.
- Street Works (NRSWA).
