Position Overview

TapFire is looking for a Game Design Intern who is passionate about mobile games and interested in building a career in the gaming industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in gameplay mechanics, player experience, progression systems, and mobile gaming trends, especially within casual, hybrid casual, idle arcade genres.

Responsibilities

• Assist the game design team in creating and improving gameplay features and mechanics
• Research competitor games, market trends, and player behavior
• Support in designing game loops, progression systems, and level concepts
• Participate in playtesting sessions and provide gameplay feedback
• Help document game ideas, features, and balancing concepts
• Collaborate with artists, developers, and other team members during implementation
