Job Description
Become an Optical Associate with FYi Doctors in Calgary's Mission Square and play a vital part in enhancing patient experiences. Your role involves direct engagement, frame assistance, and support across clinic operations.
This part-time position (20-29 hours weekly) requires a customer-focused individual proficient in communication and multitasking. You will guide patients in their eyewear selection, manage appointments, and ensure seamless service. Previous experience in optical or retail settings is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist patients entering the clinic
• Educate patients on eyewear options and benefits
• Interpret prescriptions provided by the optometrist
• Conduct facial and frame measurements for new eyewear
• Manage billing and ensure payment processing
Requirements:
• Previous optical or retail experience beneficial
• Strong skills in MS Office and technology use
