Role
The ITAM / CMDB Functional Consultant is responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering scalable and compliant IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep functional knowledge of ITAM, CMDB, and adjacent ITSM processes, with hands‑on experience in ServiceNow capabilities, data modeling, discovery, integrations, and industry best practices.
The consultant will work independently and with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure CMDB integrity, optimize assets and configuration data lifecycle management, and enable accurate service visibility and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
