Enhance practical learning as a full-time Technician supporting Carpentry and Welding at Northwestern Polytechnic. Prepare materials, manage inventory, and maintain a safe workshop environment for students.
Northwestern Polytechnic seeks an organized technician for its School of Skilled Trades. You will oversee course material preparation, maintain tools, and ensure inventory efficiency. This role plays a key part in providing safe, well-equipped learning spaces for both instructors and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare lab and course materials for students
• Manage inventory and track supplies efficiently
• Source materials and process purchase requisitions
• Maintain and assemble shop equipment and tools
• Keep tool rooms and workshops organized
Requirements:
• WHMIS and Forklift Certification required
• First Aid certification preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
