The successful candidate must

• have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• have successful junior/senior high school teaching experience
• have effective organizational and classroom management skills
• have classroom practice that is focused on:
• a student-centered approach to responsive instruction that ensures student engagement and understanding, and nurtures teacher-student relationships
• deepening students' literacy and numeracy skills and Math curriculum understanding and application
