As a Pathologist Assistant, you will assist in performing various histological processes and other duties vital to patient care. The role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, gross dissection, and laboratory hygiene. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you’ll be integral in maintaining efficient lab operations and ensuring the accuracy of specimen analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Describe and document gross specimen findings accurately
• Perform ancillary procedures on pathology specimens
• Foster a positive work environment within the lab
• Ensure compliance with lab safety and hygiene practices
• Support team functions as required
