Job Description
Join the Vernon Water Reclamation Centre as a full-time Laboratory Technician. Focus on laboratory quality assurance for wastewater treatment and reclaimed water tasks.
This role involves performing critical laboratory analyses, maintaining accurate records, and supporting VWRC's operational excellence. Your expertise in chemical and biological testing will contribute to efficient and safe water reclamation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Co-ordinate laboratory tests and analyses
ā¢ Collect samples from multiple water sources
ā¢ Record and maintain essential laboratory data
ā¢ Compile reports, including the VWRC Annual Report
ā¢ Perform routine maintenance on lab instruments
Requirements:
ā¢ Two-year diploma in Water Quality Technology or equivalent
ā¢ Minimum one year experience in laboratory work
ā¢ Valid BC Driverās License and WHMIS trained
ā¢ Level I First Aid certification
ā¢ Knowledge of water quality analysis techniques and procedures
