Job Description
As the Payroll Specialist located in Surrey, BC you are responsible for the full-cycle payroll processing for a multi-union environment. Experience with Dayforce is required. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration while maintaining compliance with collective agreements, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle payroll, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and vacation pay Maintain and update employee payroll records, including attendance and leave data, using Dayforce Interpret and apply multiple collective agreements to ensure accurate pay and benefit entitlements Administer payroll deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, pensions, and group RRSP Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including period-end balancing and benefits reconciliations Complete payroll-related filings, year-end reporting, and Rec...
