Job Description
Freight Operator - Haulage - Logistics - Burton
Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a Haulage / Logistics company based in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire to recruit a Freight Operator.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the fleet of walking floor trailers maintain profitability.
- Receiving customers' orders and inputting them into the system.
- Matching the orders to a transport solution.
- Communicating the schedule and any special circumstances such as PPE or security procedures.
- Where applicable working with the customs department.
- Flagging any non-conformance issues.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Previous operator's experience within the freight sector and excellent communication skills are required.
