Job Summary
We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team at Erie Meats. The role involves putting away, loading, and unloading orders while safely operating a forklift.
About the Position
- Pick orders and build outgoing loads per company guidelines, trucking requirements, or specific customer requests.
- Ensure proper stock rotation using first-in, first-out practices.
- Complete outgoing transfer sheets and validate incoming tracking sheets.
- Perform regular routines with minimal supervision and advise Shipping Manager of any issues.
- Segregate products according to government, customer, and company guidelines.
- Assist during physical inventories.
- Safely operate and troubleshoot automatic pallet wrappers or manually wrap skids when appropriate.
- Utilize machinery to flip skids and remove airflows.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager.
