Job Description
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Food and Dining, the Food Services Officer manages continuous improvement of McGill’s food service operations. Operating within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment, applies professional judgment and analytical expertise to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence across the various food service providers. Conduct audits, liaise with internal departments, and support the team. Work closely with SHHS Facilities and McGill FMAS to schedule repairs and maintenance of food service infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct regular in‑person audits of food service operations to ensure compliance with Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Quebec (MAPAQ) standards and McGill’s internal food safety protocols.
