Role & Responsibilities
- The Assistant Manager ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day operations for the restaurant and special events, including banquets.
- Supervise staff and ensure that customer expectations are exceeded at all times.
- Keep the food and beverage areas clean and maintain exemplary food hygiene practices.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and management of staff.
- Assist with inventory management; oversee proper unpacking of weekly orders, ensuring storage locations are neat and tidy at all times and part of the monthly counting ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Address customer complaints or issues, and resolve matters as expediently as possible.
- Oversee food storage and dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulation and health codes.
