Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer – Position Overview
An opportunity for a Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The mission of Flight Tests Instrumentation Architecture Equipment is to provide Flight Test Means to gather data from the test object (on A/C) for further evaluation. The selected candidate will join a multicultural team responsible for the full life cycle of a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) installation for development aircraft, from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and define Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) installations onboard Flight Test Aircrafts for the Eurofighter program, compiling and analyzing requirements for HW, SW, and digital systems.
- Develop and prepare FTI documentation for A/C installation Design Offices and Laboratory Facilities, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and time procedures.
