A day in this role
You arrive just before 6 a.m., check the press queue, and stage everything the team will need for the day’s label runs. Plates you mounted yesterday are ready to go; you pull and file new plate files for upcoming orders. You mix inks to exact color specs, retrieve the correct dies, and return them to their shelves after use. As the first jobs wrap, you wash ink trays, splashguards, and overflow pans, keeping the press area spotless. You keep consumables stocked and log counts for the monthly inventory.
