**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description**
This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining semi-trucks and trailers with a strong emphasis on diesel equipment. You will perform both preventative and reactive maintenance, complete required inspections, and accurately document all work using digital tools. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys a dynamic shop environment and working on a wide variety of mechanical systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain semi-trucks and trailers with a focus on diesel equipment.
+ Perform approximately 80% of daily work on diesel systems, including both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
+ Carry out trailer repairs such as wiring and repairing brake lights, replacing brakes, changing tires, and repairing hydraulic systems.
+ Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers and accurately document all findings.
