Job Description
**Entry Level Fleet Mechanics Wanted - Must be flexible with working hours evening, weekends, and holidays.**
**Must have valid Connecticut Drivers License, familiar with DOT and OSHA regulations**
**Purpose**
The Fleet Technician I performs basic maintenance, repairs, and inspections on company vehicles and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This is an entry-level position that works under the supervision of more experienced technicians and supervisors, providing opportunities to learn and develop skills in fleet maintenance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical and safety issues.
+ Perform minor repairs and replacements of components under supervision, such as brakes, lights, belts, and hoses.
+ Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, and other system malfunctions.
