Job Description
The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for performing mechanical inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. The role focuses on minimising equipment failures, ensuring smooth production operations, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements: Grade 12 (NQF 4) Trade Test: Fitter or Fitter and Turner (NQF 5) 2-3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and repair skills. Good communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair equipment faults to reduce downtime. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machinery.
