Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our container vessel trading worldwide. You will work closely with the engine and deck teams to keep all steelwork, machinery fittings, and safety equipment in good condition.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Carry out welding, cutting, and fabrication jobs on board
- Maintain and repair pipelines, brackets, supports, and ship structures
- Assist engineers and crew with mechanical repairs as required
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and orderly
- Support dry-docking and major repair work as instructed
- **Requirements**:
- Previous experience as Fitter on ocean‑going vessels, preferably container ships
- Valid seafarer documents and medical fitness in accordance with STCW
- Proven skills in welding, gas cutting, and use of hand tools
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a safe and responsible work attitude
