My client in the Steel industry is looking for a qualified Fitter and Turner to join their team

Qualifications A qualified Fitter and Turner with a minimum N3 Certificate Completed apprenticeship with a Trade Test Certificate A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fitter and Turner, preferably in a manufacturing environment CNC and CAD experience Must be prepared to work weekends and over time Experience in gearboxes, hydraulic- andpneumatic systems is advantageous Be pro‑active and able to use won initiative Be prepared to work overtime and carry outstandby duties on a roster basis Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at alltimes Duties Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systemsto determine the specifications of the components to be constructed. Constructing structural components from rawmaterials. Using welding equipment to fuse structuralcomponents. Inspecting fabricated components to ensure thatthey are the correct size.
