Job Description
Elevate your engineering career as a Fitness-for-Service Engineer specializing in pressure equipment alterations and compliance. This key role focuses on implementing best practices and performing assessments to ensure operational safety.
As part of our dedicated Quality Assurance group, you will conduct API-579 / ASME assessments and provide critical support for pressure equipment repairs during outages. Your work will interface with provincial regulators and ensure that engineering standards are met and validated. This position significantly impacts equipment integrity and long-term operational efficiency in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform API-579 / ASME FFS assessments (Level 2 and Level 3)
• Calculate alterations and re-ratings for pressure equipment
• Support outage work and repair analysis
• Review FFS assessments from external parties
• Collaborate with provincial pressure-equipment regulators
Requirements:
• Registered P.Eng with APEGA
