Summary You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER (PARAMEDIC/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN) in the FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DEPARTMENT of NAVSTA GREAT LAKES IL. Responsibilities You will comply with health and safety rules and procedures while treating victims. You will assess a patient systematically to identify the nature, extent, and seriousness of the patient's condition. You will determine the potential harm of hazardous material to people and the environment. You will complete written reports and records on emergency services incidents, patients, drugs administered equipment, or supplies used. You will determine measures needed to minimize the loss or damage as a result of fire or explosion.
