Job Description
Encorus Group is seeking a full-time Fire Protection Designer for our Springville or Depew office. In this role, you will support the design, drafting, and development of water-based fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. You will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, performing hydraulic calculations, and coordinating designs with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed fire protection system layout drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Perform hydraulic calculations for water-based fire protection systems.
- Develop system designs including pipe sizing, routing, and component selection.
- Review architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings to coordinate fire protection system layouts.
