Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, service, maintain, and troubleshoot fire detection systems.
- Program and configure fire detection control panels.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and fault finding on fire detection and sprinkler systems.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable SANS standards and industry regulations.
- Supervise and mentor assistant technicians on site.
- Conduct client site surveys and assessments.
- Prepare quotations based on site requirements.
- Manage projects from planning through to successful completion.
- Complete technical reports and project documentation accurately.
- Travel to client sites as required.
- Work after hours or on standby when operational requirements demand.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Current SAQCC Fire Detection registration.
