Financial Controller

Full-time Accounting / Finance

Job Description: This role involves: Preparing and processing monthly journals Assisting with external and internal audits Performing bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations Maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation Preparing VAT, PAYE, UIF and other statutory working papers Assisting with budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting Analysing costs and investigate variances Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and automate repetitive tasks Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects Skills & Experience: 6years' commercial accounting experience Manufacturing and FMCG experience (advantageous) Advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP accounting systems (Power BI, SAP, Sage, Syspro and Microsoft Dynamics) Knowledgeable of South African VAT, PAYE and UIF BOM costing and stock inventory Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Qualification: B.Com Accounting (or similar) For more informati...
