About the role

We are looking for a commercially minded and driven Financial Accountant to join our New Zealand Finance team. Based in either Ashburton or Christchurch, this role requires travel between the two locations and offers flexibility and hybrid working arrangements. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role across financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, ERP systems and business partnering.

What will you be doing?

• Support monthly and year-end financial reporting activities, including reconciliations, accruals and provisions.


• Prepare management reporting and group reporting submissions.


• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, FBT, NRWT and income tax.


• Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
