Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting functions including journal entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) maintenance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of financial periods
- Monitor and improve accounting systems, procedures, and controls
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, including performance management and development
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure proper documentation
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with finance leadership
