Job Description
Finance Manager – Leases
Lead lease accounting operations, oversee a shared services team, ensure compliance with IFRS 16 requirements, and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting across Optus' extensive lease portfolio. This role will play a key part in driving operational excellence, strengthening governance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Make an Impact by:
1. Team Leadership & Operational Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Executives responsible for lease accounting operations.
- Allocate and prioritise workloads to ensure timely delivery of month-end activities and business requirements.
- Review work outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide technical guidance on lease accounting, SAP RE-FX, and IFRS 16.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
