The Finance Data team owns the Data Quality Governance framework for the Finance Division, promoting best practices for data management with a focus on data quality. The team has global coverage and interacts with members across all areas of the Firm, including Finance, Operations, Institutional Securities, Firm Risk, Wealth Management, Technology, and external stakeholders.
The Finance Data Sourcing and Lineage team manages the authoritative sourcing of data into the Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) from data authorities and enables the adoption of FDW data by Finance in line with Global Data Quality Policy and BCBS 239. The firm‑wide principles establish and communicate best practices to effectively manage data, assess the impact of data challenges, and prioritize remediation of data issues across the Firm.
