Job OverviewA Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing technical equipment, mainly catering and kitchen machinery, for clients in Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities Perform repairs and replace defective parts. Commission and install new equipment. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery. Respond to call‑outs and overtime as required. Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure reliability. Maintain compliance with health, safety and quality standards. Conduct routine inspections and liaise with service coordinators. Report service and maintenance concerns promptly. Advise customers on potential problems and build relationships. Promote Vulcan equipment and support sales opportunities. Maintain the service vehicle and stock consumables. Requirements Grade 12 or NQF4 equivalent.
