Job Description
Support field and laboratory operations as a Field Sampling Technician at our Foster Creek site. Ensure compliance in the collection and handling of water, gas, and soil samples while adhering to safety protocols. In this detail-oriented role, you will perform secure and accurate collection of representative samples from oil & gas operations.
Your work will aid laboratory analysis, environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance, ensuring that sample integrity is maintained at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect water, gas, and hydrocarbon samples from various sites
- Maintain chain-of-custody documentation and sample labeling
- Operate sampling equipment such as pumps, probes, and gas containers
- Follow health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
- Record data accurately in field logs and coordinate sample shipments
