Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License – Mandatory
- Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine – Mandatory
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
- Emergency Medicine experience – Desired
Position Summary
South Okanagan General Hospital (SOGH) is a Level 1 Community Hospital serving approximately 22,000 people in the South Okanagan Valley. The 24/7 Emergency Department features 18 inpatient beds and offers both paediatric and adult acute care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the 24/7 Emergency Department as an ED physician.
- Participate in shift coverage, including winter and summer rotating schedules.
