Role and Facility Information
Working in the community as a group practice. Patient-centered care within the provincial healthcare system. You are responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions across all life stages, from pediatric care to geriatrics. Beyond clinical exams, you lead a team-based approach by collaborating with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals through Primary Care Networks. The role emphasizes preventative medicine, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling to improve community health outcomes. In addition to direct care, you manage patient records and coordinate complex transitions between hospital and community settings.
Compensation
- Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service
- Estimated Remuneration: $270,000 – $410,000+
- Physician Overhead: 25%
- Billing Split: 25:75
