YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, the Geology Intern is part of the Geology Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Drill, blast and excavation monitoring in regard to the mine geology grade control standards;
Logging core
Any other tasks that the senior grade control and/or production geologist might identify.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Student must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or technical program in any kind of Geosciences, Geological Engineering or related fields;
Students must be enrolled in a formal Co-op program.
A strong ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as a member of a team is required.
