Performs maintenance and repair of the facility`s structure, equipment and grounds. Work will include a heavy focus on commercial carpentry. Work may include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, locksmithing and painting. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring as required. Makes periodic or special inspections to determine necessary repair work. Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches. With two locations grossing approximately 374KSF in Wayne and Totowa, NJ, the selected individual will be reporting into the Supervisor of Facilities where he or she will be working alongside a group of skilled tradespersons tasked with the maintenance and repair of building systems spanning across various space types (Engineering and environmental labs, manufacturing floors, office space, electrical and mechanical rooms, etc.).
