**The Role**
The Facilities Electrical Engineer is responsible for the reliable, safe, and cost‑effective operation, maintenance, and improvement of plant facilities and utilities (e.g., electrical power distribution, HVAC, building systems) in support of manufacturing operations. They provide technical expertise, lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, support projects, and ensure compliance with GM standards, codes, and safety requirements.
**What You'll Do (Role Responsibilities)**
+ Communicate status of facility systems, open issues, and planned work to maintenance, operations, and leadership as needed.
+ Lead and direct activities and assignments for the high voltage electrician.
+ Technical understanding of electrical distribution (e.g., 13.8 kV, 4160 and 600V) equipment maintenance and repair.
