Job Description

Extruder Operator will operate and troubleshoot an extrusion machine, producing a quality product to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities include: maintaining the line, trouble-shooting machine and material issues, setting up the line, performing screen changes, being prepared for change-overs and assigning lot numbers. 

Machine: EX3
Shift hours: 2:45 pm - 11:00 pm


Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures—including wearing all proper PPE

  • Locate work orders/specification sheets then determine the materials (with specific measurements) needed to complete the order.

  • Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation.

  • Examine visually, weigh and measure components created from equipment at the end of the week to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards...
