Job Description
WSP is seeking an Expert Archaeologist to lead complex programs in Ontario. This senior role focuses on technical strategies and enhancing community relationships.
In the role of Expert Archaeologist, you will guide archaeological assessments in compliance with the Ontario Heritage Act, lead relationships with Indigenous Nations, and provide strategic insights to clients. You’ll support business development efforts and ensure quality deliverables while fostering a safe working environment for your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee multi-phase archaeological assessments and mitigation planning
• Maintain partnerships with Indigenous Nations for respectful collaboration
• Lead technical proposals and support business development
• Conduct senior technical reviews to meet quality standards
