Job Description
Join the Durham District School Board as an HVAC Technician responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing critical HVAC systems. This position values industry knowledge and provides a stable day shift environment.
As a vital part of our maintenance team, you will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all heating and cooling systems operate effectively. You are expected to bring in-depth experience, including a valid 313A Certificate, to address repairs and upgrades in school facilities. Your ability to troubleshoot and maintain system efficiency is crucial to supporting the comfort and safety of our learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting procedures
• Inspect systems for compliance and efficiency
• Manage record-keeping for all maintenance activities
• Oversee part-time staff during maintenance tasks
