As a Drywall Finisher, you will read blueprints and specifications, instruct apprentices, and supervise fellow workers. Key activities include installing drywall sheets, applying joint compounds, and crafting decorative plaster designs. Your role is vital in delivering not just functionality but also aesthetic quality in every finish of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers
• Apply, finish, and smooth coats of plaster
• Install drywall, metal corner beads, and acoustic ceilings
• Operate CADD and computer software systems
