Position: Journeyman Carpenter
Department: Reconstruction
Reports To: Reconstruction Manager / Project Manager
Position Summary
The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for completing residential and commercial reconstruction projects following fire, water, storm, and other property damage. This role performs high-quality carpentry work, leads by example on job sites, and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Paul Davis quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of residential and commercial carpentry, including framing, finishing, drywall, doors, trim, flooring, cabinetry, and minor concrete work.
Complete repairs and reconstruction according to project specifications, building codes, and company standards.
Read and interpret drawings, scopes of work, and work orders.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
