Become a Day Treatment Counsellor Assistant at EveryMind, supporting young minds in a nurturing classroom environment. Your role will focus on mental health and well-being for children aged 4-11.
EveryMind Mental Health Services is looking for a passionate Child & Youth Worker Assistant committed to enhancing the lives of children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will assist in daily operations of the Day Treatment Program, helping to create a secure and supportive therapeutic space. This role is pivotal in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to foster healing and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a therapeutic environment conducive to client needs
• Support counseling efforts for clients and families
• Implement treatment goals and assist with client records
• Take lead in the counselor's absence when necessary
• Plan and coordinate client activities as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in Child & Youth Work or related field
