Job Description
Position: ETL Data Tester
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements gathering and analyze business rules and data mapping documents.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL validation.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows for accuracy and consistency.
- Perform data quality checks including record counts, data type verifications, null handling, duplicate detection, and aggregate validation.
- Conduct comparative data analysis using SQL and other tools to ensure data integrity across source and target systems.
- Log defects, document issues, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve data‑related problems.
- Strong experience on complex SQL queries.
- Perform cube testing and browse data warehouses using SQL Server Management Studio, BIDS, or equivalent tools.
