**The Role:**
We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate to join our team in our journey of defining and executing the backbone of our company's future—the next generation Vehicle Electrical and Software Architecture.
The Mechatronics Infrastructure organization is looking for a **Staff System Engineer** who will define and lead the development of the in-vehicle Ethernet network across all of GM’s vehicle platforms. This is a very critical and central role in which you will lead the team in developing a comprehensive full-stack Ethernet network, from the data-link layer through the application layer. You will work closely with stakeholders across our architecture, hardware, and software teams in ensuring end-to-end system perspectives are considered in architecture and hardware selection decisions.
