Job Description
We are looking for an Estimator (Transmission) to join Aecon Utilities in Canada. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of labor, equipment and materials for supply and installation, and for preparing and documenting work completion estimates for Transmission construction projects.
We are open to candidates located in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Abbotsford.
What You’ll Do
- Share accountability for the overall financial performance of awarded projects.
- Analyze documents, specifications, proposals, and addendums in preparation for pricing.
- Perform estimate-related oral and written communications with clients.
- Review project sites prior to price preparation.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations, PMO, and Owner staff as appropriate.
