The Estimator will prepare lump sum, unit rate and cost-plus estimates for a broad range of projects, liaises with customers, clients, sub-contractors and consulting engineers to build professional relationships and to promote R.W. Tomlinson services and capabilities. They have a thorough understanding of the company’s objectives and can think strategically and develop innovative ways of aiding the company’s success from an estimating and market relationship perspective. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares Cost Estimates

Obtains tender documents from online bid posting sites.

Attends job showings and pretender site visits.

Review existing site conditions.

Performs pre-qualification tasks as required.

Obtains bid bonds, and insurance quotes for tender submissions.
