Job Description
We’re representing a well-established Essex-based main contractor delivering a broad range of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across the commercial, residential, and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
The Role
- Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Support bid strategy discussions and provide accurate commercial input
About You
- 4–5 years’ experience in estimating within a main contractor
- Looking to step up from Assistant Estimator to a standalone Estimator position
- Strong attention to detail with sound commercial awareness
